Synthetic biopolymers that are formed by repeating amino acid sequences that are naturally found in TROPOELASTIN. They are useful for various purposes, including DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEMS, TISSUE SCAFFOLDS, and ANTINEOPLASTIC AGENTS.
