Isolated left subclavian artery

Congenital anomaly in which the left SUBCLAVIAN ARTERY is isolated from the right AORTIC ARCH by connecting instead to the left PULMONARY ARTERY via the DUCTUS ARTERIOSUS. It is often associated with TETRALOGY OF FALLOT and may lead to a congenital SUBCLAVIAN STEAL PHENOMENON.
