[A new method for assessing hepatocyte glucuronyl-conjugating function].

Abstract
Patients with obstructive jaundice have shown the prevalence of bilirubin diglucuronide in the blood serum. This pigment has maximum absorption after the process of binitrogenization, the wavelength being 540 nm. The level of bilirubin diglucuronide in the blood serum of patients with hepatocellular jaundice was reduced. The maximum extinction after binitrogenization is registered when the wavelength is 400 nm. This method may be used for assessing a glucuronyl-conjugative function of hepatocytes.
