Treatment of traumatic optic neuropathy, a case report.

Abstract
We report a case of post-traumatic optic neuropathy in which visual improvement, documented with visual evoked potentials (VEP), occurred after administration of a corticoid megadose. The presentation of a single case does not allow to extrapolate conclusions about the efficacy of the steroid treatment, but serves as an illustration for a controversial problem as the management of post-traumatic optic neuropathy.
