[Clinical and hormonal studies in a male with karyotype 46,XX].

Abstract
The hormone values of FSH, LH, testosterone, 17-beta-oestradiol, prolactin and TSH in the blood serum of a 46,XX male were established. The results obtained are compared with the data of analogical investigations of twelve healthy men and ten men with Klinefelter's syndrome. In the case of XX male syndrome a decreased value of testosterone and elevated values of gonadotropins especially of FSH were established. The levels of oestradiol and TSH were normal. Prolactin was increased, near the middle range of the group with Klinefelter's syndrome.
