Lemon and banana signs

A fetal cranial shape finding indicative of the FRONTAL BONE indentation resulting in a shape resembling a lemon on images. Similarly, banana sign is an abnormal shape of the CEREBELLUM due to NEURAL TUBE DEFECTS. Both lemon and banana signs are associated with SPINA BIFIDA and CHIARI MALFORMATION TYPE II.
