Glycochenodeoxycholic Acid (Glycochenodeoxycholate) Summary

Description: A bile salt formed in the liver from chenodeoxycholate and glycine, usually as the sodium salt. It acts as a detergent to solubilize fats for absorption and is itself absorbed. It is a cholagogue and choleretic.
