[Surgical correction of the paralyzed vocal cord in the intermediate position].

Abstract
The present report describes the favorable use of fascia lata in the treatment of vocal cord paralysis as compared to other methods frequently used (such as, injection of artificial substances, implantation of cartilage or silicone, and stretching of the paralyzed cord).
