Oxyphenbutazone in the treatment of acute ureteral stone disease.

Abstract
A comparative study between the effect of oxyphenbutazone and placebo in acute ureteral disease was carried out in 45 patients. The results are statistically significant in favour of the group treated with oxyphenbutazone with respect to the rapidity and the incidence of spontaneous passage of ureteral stones.
