Abstract | BACKGROUND: CASE PRESENTATION: CONCLUSION: Rapid and marked thickening of the myocardium is not frequently reported but may occur in EGPA. Myocardial thickening in EGPA can be quickly reversed by corticosteroids, and is most likely caused by edema.
