Protection against the JMV Marek's disease-derived transplantable tumour by Marek's disease virus-specific antigens.

Abstract
Chickens immunised with inactivated chicken kidney cells infected with Marek's disease (MD) virus were protected against the lethal effects of inoculation with the MD-derived tumour transplant JMV, which appears not to express viral antigens. It is concluded that the distinction between MD virus-specific and tumour-specific antigens is not as complete as has been thought.
