Abstract |
Three directions exist now in ronchopathy treatment: conservative, half-surgical and surgical. Conservative treatment includes conditioning, weight loss, positional, device treatment. Half-surgical treatment is performed outpatiently using radio- knife, laser, liquid nitrogen, ultrasound. This treatment can be used for mild ronchopathy, its efficacy is not high while such complications as pharyngostenosis were observed. Basic pathogenetic therapy of ronchopathy is elimination of upper airway stenosis by radical combined surgical therapy of nasal and pharyngeal diseases performed in hospital under anesthesia. Pharyngeal surgical treatment includes bilateral tonsillectomy, uvulopalatopharyngoplasty followed by suturing of the arches for prevention of late pharyngostenosis.
